Hi, I’m Dragos Teglas — an editor & director who believes great storytelling lives in the spaces between frames.
I started back in Romania, at a very young age, working high-pressure primetime on The X Factor, Deal or Not Deal, MasterChef. Those shows taught me timing, rhythm, how to build tension, and how to make every second count.
Then I moved to London and for the last 15 years, that’s been my playground. I’ve edited films, documentaries, commercials — projects that found homes on Netflix, Amazon, Apple TV, Channel 4, and the BBC.
I learned to juggle deadlines, wrestle with footage, chase story arcs until they felt just right. London shaped me: sharp edits, strong narratives, bold visual storytelling.
I'm turning the page again and relocated in Spain continuing to work with clients around the world, digging into projects that demand precision, creativity, and honesty. Being here means I’ve got the space to focus, but the connection to the global scene to stay relevant and ambitious.
What makes me different? I’ve never thought of editing as just moving clips around. I pay as much attention to performance and tone as I do to timing. The goal is always the same: to find what the footage is already trying to say, and give it flow in a clear voice. Ideas come and go in a split of a second so I developed an incredibly fast editing skill to catch and put ideas together with instinct.
